School drop off & pick up Guidelines
In order to keep children safe, and keep drop-off and pick-up as efficient as possible, ASA has adopted these protocols. We ask that all caregivers review and follow the protocols in order to contribute to our safe school culture and demonstrate consideration and respect for all.
Getting 960 students to and from school SAFELY and efficiently is no small feat and requires EVERY ONE OF US to do our part. At the end of the day, the children are watching. Please remember you are modeling for them the necessity of following school rules and showing respect for all.
Read on to do your part in getting all Wolves safely on and off campus.

Park in the neighborhood. NO PARKING on ASA's (north) side of C St.
Use either crosswalk onto campus.
Walk your child up to the TK/K gate at the front of campus where ASA staff will be waiting to greet you.
Pick Up on Oaks Ave. Walk up to the pedestrian gate on Oaks Ave. or drive up by entering southbound on Oaks Ave.

Remain in your car and have your Wolf exit/enter on the passenger side of your car. ASA staff will help your Wolf exit/enter your car.
Exit the Oaks Ave. driveway making a right hand turn only.

On minimum days, including Friday, refrain from arriving for pick up before 11:55am to avoid overlapping with
morning K pick up.
Drive westbound on C St.
Pull forward to Drop off/Pick Up in front of the western most grass area on C st. This helps with both safety and efficiency.
Continue westbound on C St.
Your Wolf will enter campus through the main gates.
Have your Wolf use either of the crosswalks.

Your Wolves will enter/exit through the main campus gate at the front of the school.

SAFETY & COURTESY EXPECTATIONS
- Please have student backpacks, lunches and students ready before entering the Pick Up and Drop Off Zone.
- Park next to the curb and come to a complete stop BUT DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE
- Students should exit and enter on the passenger side of the car only (curbside).
Staff parking is not a safe drop off/pick up location. It is not
available for general student drop off/pick up.
Only families with a school issued parking lot pass are to use the staff parking lot.
- DO NOT LINGER AND WATCH YOUR CHILD WALK IN.
- Be polite to other drivers and try to leave room for easy maneuvering at the curb.
- Do not use cellphones or text while picking up or dropping off children.
Only cross streets when using crosswalks.
Do not jaywalk.
Per ordinance from the City of Chino, parking in front of schools from 7:00am-4:00pm is prohibited.
Signage is in place in front of ASA on C Street.
Please be mindful when parking in the neighborhood and
DO NOT block driveways.
